The following guidelines are implemented to protect our community, patients and staff. These are guidelines only and are not definitive (Janaury 3rd, 2022) as covid infection is constantly changing.

1. Staff Training:
   • Covid-19 CDC recommendations and vaccination updates (ongoing basis).
   • Policies and procedures to minimize the chance of exposure.
   • Changes in office procedures.
   • Appropriate PPE for staff and patients.
2. Prepare Office:
   • All areas to be cleaned/disinfected both prior to and after patient encounter.
   • Minimize waiting room traffic:
     1. Bring patient immediately to private room
     2. Wait in car & call when waiting room is empty

• Social distancing (6 feet between patients).

• Removal of unnecessary items.

• Patient Advice/Education:
  • Advise patients to reschedule if having symptoms:
    1. Fever, chills, cough, SOB, loss taste or smell.
    2. Contact with active Covid individual in past 7 days.
  • Wear masks to office.
  • Wash hands frequently. Limit physical contact in office.
  • Minimize unnecessary patient contact with staff.
  • Avoid receiving oral or injected cortisone during Covid vaccination phase. Please inform our staff if you have or are planning to recieve vaccination for Covid.

Our office is being proactive in taking steps to reduce risk to all our patients and our staff.  Because we have patients who are immuno-compromised and have other health concerns we choose to follow guidelines for the safety of all our patients.
